Q: Is this course approved?

A:The approval status of each course varies by state. Select your state in order to find out if your course is officially approved. Many insurance companies will give a discount to senior drivers who complete an I DRIVE SAFELY mature driver course, even if the course is not approved by the state.

Q: How much will I save on my auto insurance?

A:The size of the insurance discount for mature drivers who take an insurance discount course is sometimes set by the state. Otherwise, the size of the discount is determined by the insurance company.

A: The amount of for which the insurance discount course is valid is sometimes set by the state. (This time frame is typically 3 years.) Otherwise, the amount of time for which the course is valid is determined by the insurance company.

Q: How long will it take me to complete the course?

A: The mature driver safety courses range length from 3 to 6 hours depending upon your course and state. You can start and stop the course at your desire.

Q: Do I need to save my work?

A: Your registration and payment information are automatically saved. You must finish each chapter quiz completely in order to receive credit for that chapter. Simply log in using your driver's license and password. We automatically keep track of the coursework completed, so the next time you log in, you can pick up where you left off.

Q: How long is the final exam?

A: The length of the final exam is determined by the state. The typical final exam is 25 questions.

A: You may retake the final exam multiple times at no additional cost.

Q: Are the statistics you quote outdated?

A: The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) and the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety (IIHS) generally release traffic statistics 1-2 years after they are collected. We update the course material regularly to reflect the latest available statistics, which are not always from the year immediately prior.

Q: What do I do with my certificate once I have received it?

A: In most states your completion certificate will be mailed directly to you. However the state of Delaware requires drivers to pick up their completion certificates at a designated pick-up location. Once you receive your certificate it is then your responsibility to present it to your insurance company.

Q: What certificate delivery options do I have?

A: We offer various delivery options. Your course tuition includes regular mailing of your certificate. For your convenience, we also offer premium delivery services for an additional cost. Overnight Morning delivery costs an additional $24.95 and will be delivered the next business day before 12 PM. Overnight delivery costs an additional $19.95 and will be delivered the next business day before 5 PM. Two-day express delivery costs an additional $14.95 and will be delivered the second business day before 5 PM. If you live in a rural area, delivery delays may occur.

Q: How long does it take for my certificate to be delivered?

A: Our certificates are mailed out Monday through Friday at 3 PM Pacific Time (5 PM Central Time for Texas users). Users who complete their course after 3 PM will have their certificates mailed out on the following business day. We ask you to allow 3-5 business days for delivery. Premium delivery services are available for an additional fee.

Q: I need another copy of my certificate. How can I get one?

A: If you have lost your certificate or if contains incorrect information, you may contact a customer support representative at 1-800-723-1955 to request a certificate reprint.

Q: Is your website secure?

A: Yes. An encrypted SSL connection requires all information sent between a client and a server to be encrypted by the sending software and decrypted by the receiving software, thus providing a high degree of confidentiality. Confidentiality is important for both parties to any private transaction. In addition, all data sent over an encrypted SSL connection is protected with a mechanism for detecting tampering--that is, for automatically determining whether the data has been altered in transit.

Q: Do I need any special software to take this course?

A: You do not need any special software to use our course. All you need is a web browser and a connection to the internet. We support Internet Explorer 4.0 and higher, Netscape Navigator 6.0, AOL 4.0 and higher, and most other browsers. There is no software to download and nothing saved to your hard drive. Some courses use the Macromedia Flash plugin. This product is free and can be downloaded and installed at registration.

Q: What is the course completion policy?

A: You must complete all phases of the approved curriculum in order to receive a certificate of completion. Any time missed must be made up. The school is prohibited from issuing a certificate of completion if the student has not met all the requirements for course completion and a student shall not accept a certificate under such circumstances.

Q: What is the course cancellation/refund policy?

A: A full refund will be made to any student who cancels the enrollment contract within 30 days of registering for the course and prior to attempting the final examination. The COURSE PROVIDER will terminate, without notice, the enrollment of any student who has not successfully completed the course within 180 days. All registration fees paid are due and refundable when the course of instruction is discontinued by the school, preventing a student from completing the course, or the enrollment of the student was procured as a result of any misrepresentation in advertising, promotional materials of the school, or representation made by the owner or employee of the school. All refunds will be issued within 30 days following receipt of a permissible request for cancellation.

Q: What is the operation and conduct policy?

A: No credit or completion will be given if the course is completed by anyone other than you or if you are assisted by an outside party. When you enroll in the course you are stating under penalty of perjury that you, and not another person, studied the material in its entirety and completed that chapter quizzes and the final exam. By registering for the course, you understand that is may be a felony to make false statements or to falsify documents submitted by the court
